Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements.
• Lead the development and execution of quality strategies policies and procedures to enhance overall product quality.
• Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards staying abreast of changes and updates.
• Manage the quality control team providing leadership mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate quality standards into all aspects of the product life cycle.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
• Oversee the documentation and recordkeeping process to track and report on quality metrics.
• Implement and manage a robust training program to enhance the quality awareness and skills of the workforce.
• Stay current with industry best practices technological advancements and emerging trends in quality management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 57 years of experience in quality management focusing on ISO standards and Quality GMS.
• Bachelors degree in a related field; advanced degree or certifications in quality management preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in successfully leading and implementing ISO 9001 standards.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies statistical process control and Six Sigma principles.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving quality objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Problemsolving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
• Experience with transformer manufacturing or a related industry is a plus.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Lifting: Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Environment: Work in a facility with loud noise extreme temperatures and environmental stressors.
• Physical Activities: Sit stand walk bend climb crouch reach and grasp as needed.
• PPE: Wear the required PPE including eye and hearing protection gloves and safety toe footwear.
• Dexterity and Vision: Manual dexterity and specific vision abilities (close distance color peripheral depth perception and focus adjustment).
• Stamina: Stand for long shifts.
• Skills: Effective communication basic math skills and teamwork.
• Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and address hazards.
