Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Travel RN ICU weekly Gross Pay $3034/36 hrs.

$3034 Weekly including a stipend for 36 hours (For Travellers)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Position Registered Nurse ICU
• Location Hartford CT

JOB DETAILS:

• Full Time 13 weeks contract
• Night Shift 7 pm to 7 am / 36 hours weekly
• Work Location On Location
• Unit: ICU
• EMR Exp: EPIC REQUIRED
• Ability to commute/relocate: Hartford CT Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assessing planning implementing and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
• Evaluating medical information as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre and postsurgery patients.
• Preparing administering and recording prescribed medications.
• Changing dressings inserting catheters and starting IVs.
• Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed as well as interpreting and recording measurements.
• Monitoring patients vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
• Collaborating on discharge planning with the healthcare team.
• Answering questions and educating patients and their families on surgical procedures and postsurgery care.
• Maintaining and updating patient files medical charts and health records.
• Adhering to best nursing practices standards and protocols.

REQUIREMENT:

• RN License
• Current AHA BLS NIHSS
• 2 years experience
