The Role

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to migrate existing ETL processes from Informatica to Azure Data Factory (ADF). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both Informatica and help visualise the ETL in Azure Data Factory with additional experience in PowerShell being a plus.

Requirements

• Analyze existing ETL processes in Informatica and design equivalent processes in Azure Data Factory.
  
• Help with estimating the overall migration timelines based on informatica landscape
  
• Develop test and deploy ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory.
  
• Ensure data accuracy consistency and performance during the migration process.
  
• Collaborate with data architects analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and design efficient data workflows.
  
• Document migration plans processes and technical specifications.
  
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to resolve any issues promptly.
  
• Optimize ETL processes for performance and cost efficiency in Azure.
  
• (Good to have) Utilize PowerShell scripts to automate and streamline data processes and migrations.
