MECHANICAL ENGINEER

As a Mechanical engineer or technician you ll be working with some or more of the following topics where you ll be:

• Dimension and specifying pipes components and equipment
  
• Tank specifying and design
  
• Purchase and supplier contract
  
• Implementing projects in the construction phase using supervision and supervising of contractors and suppliers
  
• Control of FAT/SAT activities
  
• Tendering work
  

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of the mechanical discipline i.e. a minimum of a mechanical engineering degree (including performing calculations) and many years of related experience
  
• Indepth knowledge of the Machinery Directive
  
• Comprehensive knowledge of all mechanical specifications in a project
  
• Ability to answer mechanical questions (e.g. material knowledge)
  
• 3D design skills (ability to see the overall picture in relation to customer requirements)
  
• Ability to understand various ISO/EN standards
  
• Experience with practical work related to site installation
  
• Inspections at suppliers
  
• Participation in FAT SAT
