Job Description
Location: Kampala
Position Type: FullTime
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Curriculum Coordinator for our Early Years Childhood Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum development with 3 to 5 years of experience and must possess experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of the Early Years curriculum in alignment with IB standards.
- Collaborate with teachers to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.
- Provide professional development and support to teaching staff.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and make necessary adjustments.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Engage with parents and the community to support student learning and development.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in curriculum development.
- Proven experience with the IB program.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Training in special needs is an added advantage.
- Bachelor s degree in education.
- Master s degree is an added advantage
