Job Description
Location: Kampala
Position Type: FullTime
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IB Physics Teacher to join our secondary education team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors degree in Education and have significant experience teaching IB or Cambridge Physics. Additional experience with Extended Essay coordination is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach IB Physics to secondary school students ensuring alignment with IB standards.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater for diverse learning styles.
- Assess and evaluate student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Coordinate and support students with their Extended Essays if applicable.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Education.
- Proven experience teaching secondary Physics within the IB or Cambridge framework.
- Experience in Extended Essay coordination is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
