Registered Dietitian

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian for 5 hrs/week in the area!

Schedule: Flexible MondayFriday during normal business hours with two short visits per week.

Compensation: $32.00$40.00/hour DOE

At least 1 year of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Completes nutritional assessment and follow ups using evidencebased practice according to the facilitys policy.
  
• Nutrition education focused intervention focusing on general nutrition and some weight loss/gain.
  
• Informs nursing and physician of changes in a patients nutritional status.
  
• Document assessments of patients with nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record.
  
• Provide education to the patients and/or family members on nutritional needs as indicated.
  
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings as assigned.
  
• Adhere to all facility s policies and procedures including confidentiality and patient s rights.
  
• Perform other tasks as assigned
  

Requirements: Candidates must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration

• Experience providing general nutrition interventions (i.e. weight loss weight gain food intolerances etc.)
  
• Strong oral and written communication skills
  
• Experience with electronic charting systems
