Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr. Apigee Developer with substantial experience in API management and backend development using Java. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Apigee Java Spring Boot micro services and cloud technologies. Excellent communication skills are essential along with the ability to handle technical challenges and utilize advanced features effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. API Development and Management:

Design develop and manage APIs using Apigee Edge.

Implement API policies security measures and traffic management strategies.

Monitor and optimize API performance and reliability.

2. Backend Development:

Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

Design and implement microservices architecture.

Integrate APIs with backend services to ensure seamless functionality.

3. Technical Expertise:

Utilize advanced features of Apigee for API management.

Handle technical challenges related to API development and integration.

Leverage JavaScript/Python for scripting and automation tasks.

4. Cloud Integration:

Work with cloud technologies to deploy and manage APIs and backend services.

Ensure scalability security and performance of cloudbased applications.

Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams for optimal deployment strategies.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with crossfunctional teams including frontend developers product managers and DevOps engineers.

Communicate effectively to gather requirements provide updates and deliver technical solutions.

Document technical specifications system designs and API guidelines.

6. Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in API management backend development and cloud technologies.

Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.

Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth and knowledge sharing.

Technical Skills:

1. Apigee:

Extensive experience with Apigee Edge for API management.

Proficient in designing developing and securing APIs using Apigee.

Knowledge of Apigee advanced features and best practices.

2. Java and Spring Boot:

Strong proficiency in Java programming.

Experience with Spring Boot for backend development.

Ability to design and implement microservices architecture.

3. Scripting Languages:

Familiarity with JavaScript and Python for scripting and automation.

4. Cloud Technologies:

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure and Google Cloud) for deploying and managing applications.

Understanding of cloudbased architecture scalability and security.

5. Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

6. Team Collaboration:

Experience working in a collaborative team environment.

Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to team success.
