Accounts Semi-Senior

TPF Recruitment are currently working with a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants located in Portsmouth currently seeking a talented Accounts SemiSenior to join their dynamic and growing team.

Our client are looking for individuals who embody creativity ambition curiosity passion trustworthiness and articulateness. For them accounting is more than just crunching numbers; its about engaging with clients identifying opportunities to enhance their profits and supporting them on the path to success.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of statutory accounts.
  
• Preparation of management accounts for a variety of clients.
  
• Preparation of corporate tax and personal tax computations.
  
• Preparation of VAT returns.
  
• General bookkeeping using cloud software Xero QuickBooks Sage etc.
  
• Supporting the directors with adhoc advisory work.
  
• Assisting more junior members of staff.
  

Requirements

• AAT qualified and/or studying towards an ACCA or ACA qualification.
  
• You will have a minimum of 2 years experience within practice.
  
• Experience of cloud software such as Iris Xero Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
  
• Are driven inquisitive and passionate about your work with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
• Exhibit organization enthusiasm and selfmotivation.
