Area Manager-Trade Finance - BRANCH BANKING - Retail Sales - Kotak Mahindra

Has a reporting span of 6 10 Trade PSMs
2. Alignment is typically to the branch banking region (i.e. RBH)
3. Responsible for the achievement of business segment (i.e. nonindividual) TFX Income target assigned to the branches
4. Responsible for increasing the trade client base
5. Builds the trade asset book (Export Credit Import Finance BG LCBD Domestic Trade NonLC Bills)
6. Puts the catchmentwise strategy in place to scope TFX business opportunities
7. Engages with the BMs RMs and other Sales team members to draw a plan to achieve the target
8. Provides the required product inputs / training to the stakeholders / builds the capability
9. Organises marketing events / activities in consultation with stakeholders
10. Builds the relationship with market makers like CAs / Corporate Law Firms / Legal entities etc.
11. Monitors the key growth parameters in the portfolio and takes the corrective measures in case of declining trend
12. Makes sales calls / client meetings along with the RMs / sales team
13. Assists the RMs / BMs in arriving at an appropriate TFX pricing applicable to the clients
14. Launches local / catchment specific contests campaigns etc. to build and sustain the momentum
15. Engages in periodical reviews with ABM and RBHs to analyse the gaps and puts the actionable in place as a corrective measure
16. Addresses the client specific issues if any
17. Liases with back end and Trade Desks for the trns related aspects wherever required
18. Works closely with various units (TAD Compliance Escrow Legal Ops Product etc.) for Capital Account Trns and ensures flawless execution of trns
19. Engages with various industry associations like FIEO EEPC SEA etc. to promote the brand
20. Monitors and ensures that the branches are completing Trade KYC Additional Due Diligence
21. Responsible for the compliance parameters of BoE / XAR pendency / MTTs
