Company Overview: Our client has an exciting opportunity for Assistant Nurse Manager. Under the Nurse Managers supervision oversees nursing services on the unit to ensure quality patient care. Responsibilities include assisting with daytoday unit management overseeing clinical and resource use improving patient throughput assessing quality enhancing satisfaction interpreting policies facilitating staff education ensuring regulatory compliance and participating in staff selection and evaluation as delegated by the Nurse Manager.
Position Summary: The successful candidate shall have a minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing. This is a fulltime contract job.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise nursing services on the unit under Nurse Managers guidance.
- Ensure quality patient care.
- Assist with daytoday unit management.
- Oversee clinical and resource utilization.
- Improve patient throughput.
- Assess and enhance quality of care.
- Increase patient/staff/provider satisfaction.
- Interpret policies and procedures.
- Facilitate staff education.
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Participate in staff selection and evaluation as directed by Nurse Manager.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Nursing (BSN).
Required upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License National Provider BLS American Heart Association.
