Powerbuilder Developer

Role: Powerbuilder Developer

Location: Lansing MI.

The PowerBuilder Developer will:

Identify and document current solution challenges along with the system requirements necessary to remedy those challenges

Architect design and develop new solutions to meet system requirements

Perform or direct revision repair or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements

Independently test the application and develop solutions that enable a positive enduser experience

Support test activities by separate test groups resolving issues and defects

Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced.

Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.

Trouble shoot issues with the implementation of the solution

Assist with the deployment of the developed work

Assist in the final implementation and golive activities planning

Work closely with the development team and team lead on all development activities providing timely status while working as part of a project team communicating progress technical issues and their resolution solutions
