Job Title: QA Manager

Location: Bethlehem PA

Salary Range: $80000 $100000 (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Description: CK Hobbie is seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Manager to lead our Quality Assurance team. The QA Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our production processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of Quality Assurance including raw materials packaging materials labeling and finished products.
  
• Implement and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  
• Conduct preoperational inspections according to specified frequencies.
  
• Perform monitoring and verification activities related to food safety and quality including analytical product testing packaging assessments label reviews and sanitation swabbing.
  
• Ensure adherence to Food Safety and HACCP critical control points and preventive controls.
  
• Lead investigations and corrective actions as needed to address quality issues.
  
• Review production records for accuracy and completeness.
  
• Manage document control within production/quality records to ensure the latest procedures are followed.
  
• Assist with cleaning duties and facility maintenance as required.
  
• Engage in crossfunctional learning and support other areas of production as needed.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
  

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills.
  
• Ability to lift at least 35lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
  
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Food Science Quality Assurance or a related field preferred.
  
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility is highly desirable.
  
• Experience in recordkeeping data entry and stock management is a plus.
  

Work Environment:

• This position may require working overtime or weekends to meet business needs.
  
• The QA Manager will spend the majority of their time on the manufacturing floor.
  
• Exposure to allergens such as milk eggs fish crustacean shellfish tree nuts peanuts wheat sesame and soybeans is likely.
