The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS) is seeking a Senior ServiceNow developer for designing developing and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS) is seeking a Senior ServiceNow developer for designing developing and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The responsibilities of this role will include the following:

Architect scalable and maintainable solutions within the ServiceNow platform ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Design develop and implement ServiceNow solutions including custom applications modules workflows and integrations to meet business requirements.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and support teams fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow configurations workflows integrations and performance.

Proven work experience with ServiceNow development and/or administration

Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer or ServiceNow Workflow Editor using functionality such as Scheduled Script Executions (Scheduled Jobs)

Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer or ServiceNow Workflow Editor such as notifications and reporting

Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) or Customer Service Management (CSM)

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or application developer (CAD)

Extensive knowledge of JavaScript and other web development tools and techniques like HTML CSS XML SQL and AJAX for building user interfaces.

Experience building and maintaining integrations between ServiceNow and other systems leveraging REST SOAP and other APIs

Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting a sense of urgency; independently identify options.

Ability to organize prioritize and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures.

Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and best practices is beneficial

Familiarity with ServiceNows Glide scripts

Experience designing and/or developing dashboards using Power BI

Experience with Agile (Scrum Kanban or SAFe) development

Knowledgeable in DevOps practices and Shift Left testing
