Responsibilities of Registered Nurse MS/Tele
- Assess patients medical conditions formulate nursing diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients vital signs and telemetry readings interpreting and responding promptly to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Provide patient and family education regarding medications treatments procedures and selfcare techniques.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
- Document assessments interventions and outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions following established protocols.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients families and staff members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Foster a culture of professionalism teamwork and continuous learning.
Requirements for Registered Nurse MS/Tele
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of state name.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Minimum of X years of clinical experience in an acute care setting preferably in medicalsurgical and telemetry units.
- BLS and ACLS certification required; additional certifications such as PALS and TNCC preferred.
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation.
- Strong critical thinking communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fastpaced environment.
- Commitment to professional growth and evidencebased practice.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand walk and move freely throughout the workday.
- Capable of lifting and transferring patients with assistance as needed.
- Visual and auditory acuity to assess patient condition and respond to alarms.
- Manual dexterity to perform nursing procedures and administer medications.
