Job Summary: The Team Leader at HDFC Bank is responsible for leading a team of sales and service professionals to achieve business objectives ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining operational excellence. The role involves managing team performance providing training and support and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:
- Lead mentor and motivate a team of sales and service executives.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.

Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance identifying areas for improvement.
- Drive crossselling of bank products and services.

Customer Service:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.
- Handle escalated customer issues and provide resolutions.
- Implement customer feedback mechanisms to improve service quality.

Operational Excellence:
- Ensure compliance with bank policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage operational risks and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular audits and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on team performance and business metrics.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.

- Work closely with other departments and teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Participate in branch and regional meetings and contribute to strategic planning.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking or financial services with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of banking products services and regulations.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing team performance.
- Proficiency in using banking software and MS Office applications.
