The Role:
We are seeking a Consultant/Specialist community Paediatrician to build a team in a hospital that is currently being developed.

As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will provide Community Paediatric Services to general paediatric patients of the hospital and region.

You will conduct outpatient clinics, ward rounds and patient reviews for the ongoing management of all patients under your care.

You will deliver appropriate care and services, support, and facilitate a culture of evidence-based best practice.

You will support the development of Paediatric services and capitalise on opportunities to collaborate and coordinate services by responding to the needs of the community.

Salary package up to $430,000 plus other benefits

The Hospital:
The 143-bed hospital has a 24/7 emergency department with access to on-call anaesthetics; medical, and surgical consultants. In conjunction with Charles Sturt University’s School of Rural Medicine, the hospital established a clinical school in 2022.

A new $65.7 million emergency department is now under construction and is expected to be completed by early 2025. The new project will double the treatment spaces.
