ABOUT THE ROLE:

VPT (Virginia Permitting Transparency) project

A Data Architect is required build and edit Data Factory pipelines manage database needs reporting work with customers on file issues and perform data research.

This individual will be expected to work with the current application development team to provide enhancements and support on VITAs system.

The following are the expected experience/skills:

5 years serving in a data architecture position isrequired.

Ability to architect and model mission critical RDMS BIOLTP OLAP and solutions leveraging multiple DBMS technologies is required.

Azure Power BIexperience required

Extensive experience creating and implementing ETL processesis required.

Ability to work with both business and technical users todefine and gather reporting/analytics requirements with experience translatingbusiness and technical requirements into comprehensive data reportingstrategies and analytic solutions is required.

Excellent verbal and writing skills along with the abilityto develop and present complex material effectively to a variety of audiencesare also required.

Proven ability to work collaboratively on project teams andto work independently with minimal supervision is required.

Experience with Azure PowerBI and PowerAutomate is nice tohave.

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Dataverse is nice to have.
