Job Description

Expert level Tableau exp to provide technical assistance to BI analysts as well as quality improvement advice to the team leader. Must be proficient in project management and prioritization with the ability to succeed as an independent developer.



Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Promotes the utilization of technical services to resolve business issues within the enterprise agency program area or division;

Provides technical support on complex business intelligence projects and performs as a Subject Matter Expert in business or functional area;

May participate in strategic planning processes for ODA s Data Visualization/Business Intelligence team;

Assists with developing technical standards and policies to meet the needs of customers peers and management;

Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts;

May serve as a project leader providing guidance advice supervision and/or training to other analysts;

Establishes and maintains strategic partnerships with data visualizationbased agencies to help them meet their business and technical needs;

Collaborates with Data Science/Public HealthGeographics Data Engineering Data Management Data Surveillance Outreach& Equity and Data Governance teams within ODA;

Participates in the Business Intelligence Center of Excellence steering committee as it relates to data governance and visualization best practices;

Assists Data Visualization/Business Intelligence team with dashboard development as needed.
