Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Carbondale IL 62901

Assignment Start Date: 5/27/2024

13 weeks Days 10hour shift 40 hours with 36 hours guaranteed weekly

This is not a need for just an RCIS. We need special procedure techs that have ARRT RT(R) and an IEMA license to run the camera

We are looking for someone who can work in coronary and peripheral cases including but not limited to CTO carotid stenting AAA and complex peripheral intervention. The tech also needs to be able to use Phillips Siemens and Cannon (formerly Toshiba) xray equipment. (IL IEMA license for radiologic technologist) Structural experience would be a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs diagnostic radiographic exams.
• Utilizes PACS and EMR systems
• Performs interventional procedures per protocol and established procedures.
• Maintains appropriate IV and Contrast Competency
• Follows established protocols and procedures for proper patient position exposure control and radiation protection.
• Performs office duties as needed.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved in the patient care process.
• Cleans and inspects departmental equipment
• Cleans and stocks Imaging rooms.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Must have CATH lab Experience
• Coronary and peripheral experience and structural & complex experience are preferred.
• EP(Electrophysiology) experience even if scrub ablations experience running the cameras is required. (This is not a need for just an RCIS. )

Education: Associate degree

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• ARRT(R) Certification in Radiology is required.
• IEMA Licensure is required
• BLS/BCLS is required.

EMR System: EPIC experience preferred

Shift: 4x10hour shifts(). Days and weekends as required.One weekday of call every fourth weekend of call with the option to pick up additional calls.
