Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for RN CVOR. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Carbondale IL 62901

Assignment Start Date: 5/20/2024

13 weeks Varied 8hour shift 40 hours per week with 36 hours guaranteed

We are looking for a CVOR nurse who will also float to the general OR when no CV cases are scheduled. The nurse will start at 0700 when no heart on the schedule and start at 0600 when there is a CABG. The call is shared with one other CVOR nurse and ends up being about 50% split.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess patients to determine their mental physical and spiritual needs.
• Assesses plans implements and evaluates an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team.
• Provides explanations and instructions to patient/responsible person.
• Demonstrate ability to use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
• Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills.
• Meets Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
• Participate in continuing education.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Must have at least two years of operating room experience
• A minimum of one year CVOR RN is preferred
• Proficiency in scrubbing open heart and lung cases is preferred.

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• IL State Registered Nurse License is required
• BLS/BCLS is required
• ACLS is required

EMR System: EPIC knowledge/experience preferred

Shift: This will be Monday through Friday 8hour shifts with call required
