JOB TITLE: 787 Fuel Cell Mechanic Free Housing Support!

PAY RATE: $35.00 $40.00 per hour

Summary:

• Removal and reinstallation of structural brackets supports vents tubes and component assemblies in aircraft fuel tanks.
  
  Additional Sills:

• Performs dry capacity checks

• FOD free inspections prior to tank closure fuel tank leak repairs/leaks checks and drain/air purge fuel tanks.

• Required to perform fuel system maintenance & pressurization checks as required.

• Required to perform Resistance Measurement and Seal installations to support fuel systems

• Performs fuel tank maintenance safety tasks including clearing the aircraft when applying electrical power using grounding safety devices performing lockout/tagout and performing Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) tests.

• Defuels and refuels aircraft as required.

• Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as; blueprints or manufactures manuals.

• Read and follow the and provided technical data blueprints engineering drawings standard operating procedures and manufacturing specifications in the maintenance processes.

• Provides troubleshooting knowledge inspection repair modification replacement of aircraft fuel components and systems and followon operational checks.

• The mechanic will be required to access aircraft data via computer systems and initiate online parts and discrepancy requests.

• Perform efforts associated with flight controls installation removal and rigging.

• Landing gear ops check door rigging and servicing of aircraft

Ability to Perform the Following Requirements:

• The candidate must be able to ascend and descend vertical work ladders work in confined spaces and lift loads of approximately 35 pounds.
