AGF Talent is conducting a search for a Senior Financial Analyst on behalf of a leading manufacturer of roofing systems. This company delivers highquality and costeffective roofing solutions.

About The Role

This role provides comprehensive financial support across multiple roofing systems manufacturing facilities. You will be responsible for streamlining financial processes conducting indepth analyses to support strategic decisionmaking and driving cost reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive financial support to plant management teams.
  

• Track project capital and expenses with meticulous detail.
  

• Oversee financial operations for multiple plants as the position evolves.
  

• Review analyze and approve all project and facility maintenance spending.
  

• Develop and manage monthly forecasts and annual operating plans.
  

• Participate in monthend and yearend closing activities.
  

• Collaborate in developing plant bills of materials routings and standards.
  

• Drive the development and implementation of efficient financial operating plans for the plants.
  

• Prepare and analyze key financial reports including monthend reports and project updates.
  

• Partner with teams to resolve system issues and support the integration of new plants into SAP.
  

• Reconcile relevant general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy.
  

• Continuously improve financial processes and procedures for both projects and ongoing plant operations.
  

• Conduct financial and strategic analyses to enable datadriven business decisions and investments.
  

• Identify and implement cost reduction and working capital improvement opportunities.
  

• Participate in plant/project procurement activities as needed.
  

Required Experience

• Bachelors degree in finance or accounting.
  

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance or accounting with at least 2 years in cost accounting and/or a manufacturing environment.
  

• Demonstrated analytical skills and strong problemsolving abilities.
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  

• Processoriented mindset with computer proficiency.
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
  

• Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  

• Experience with monthend and yearend closing activities.
  

• Ability to travel occasionally (010 days per year).
