Junior Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a detailoriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The Junior Accountant will assist in various accounting tasks gaining valuable experience and contributing to the accurate and timely financial reporting of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Transactions: Assist in the processing and recording of financial transactions including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
• Reconciliation: Support the reconciliation of bank statements accounts and other financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements reports and budgets under the guidance of senior accounting staff.
• MonthEnd Close: Participate in the monthend and yearend closing processes by preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
• Audit Support: Provide assistance during internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules gathering supporting documents and responding to audit inquiries.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
• Ad Hoc Tasks: Support the finance team with ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• Experience: Entrylevel position; previous internships or relevant coursework in accounting is a plus.
