The Division of Enrollment Management and Division of IT are seeking an experienced consultant who has recent
Atlassian Cloud software implementation experience that can provide guidance and lead us towards the use of
vendor best practices while we migrate to Atlassian Cloud products. The ideal candidate will have a deep
understanding of Atlassian products and services including Jira Confluence Bitbucket and others. Responsibilities
will include providing expert advice and knowledge of Atlassian best practices to help identifying areas of
improvement and recommend solutions to optimize configurations for business processes and scalability. This
position requires a combination of technical expertise problemsolving skills and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
Offer expert advice and guidance on best practices for using Atlassian tools.
Work closely with UW team to understand and evaluate our existing infrastructure and business processes.
Use knowledge of delivered products to identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions.
Interface across several business areas acting as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects.
Create a detailed implementation plan.
Lead the migration process from our current setup to Atlassian Cloud
Ensure data integrity and minimal disruption during the transition.
Configure and customize Atlassian products (e.g. Jira Confluence Bitbucket) as needed.
Experience in Identity Management setup (single sign on via Shibboleth) support for five main LDPs license management and system administration overview.
Collaborate with other team members to deliver highquality solutions.
Conduct Atlassian product demonstrations as needed.
Provide ongoing support and training to UW JIRA project admin and users.
Requirements:
Proven experience (at least 2 years) with complex Atlassian Cloud implementations
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Ability to solve complex problems.
Ability to work with crossfunctional teams.
Strong communication collaboration and customer service skills.
Top Skills & At least 2 Years Poven Experience:
Experience with complex Atlassian Cloud implementations.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
