Job Description
We are hiring a Person in charge for our Nursing Home in Co Roscommon . This job is for someone who wants to join a busy and wellestablished nursing home group. The Director of Nursing will play a key role in leading our nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of highquality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- To take on the role of key worker to the resident
- To manage and oversee the personal planning process for the resident
- To ensure the service provision meets the needs and wishes of the resident(s) identified through the personal planning process as far as is practicable
- To liaise with parents / carers / advocates and other stakeholders in relation to the service and supports the resident(s) receive
- To promote and facilitate mainstream opportunities for residents including work education training and leisure in accordance with residents preferences
Requirements
- Third Level Degree in Nursing.
- Registered with An Bord Altranais with an active PIN.
- Proven clinical competence and a passion for delivering outstanding care to older people.
- 3 years of experience in a management capacity.
- 3 years of experience in nursing older people within the last 6 years.
- 6 years of postregistration nursing experience.
