Job Description
Nirvana Managed Services is a Facilities Management Company in Chester covering Chester and North Wales and the Wirral. We provide cleaning caretaking and site management to both public and private sector. We are currently seeking a compassionate and responsible Caretaker to join our team.
**Job Description:**
As a Caretaker you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness safety and maintenance of the our parks in the Chester City Centre you are assigned to. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our sites as well as providing assistance and support to residents/employees/visitors as needed.
**Responsibilities:**
Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping mopping vacuuming and dusting
Conduct regular inspections of the properties to identify maintenance issues and safety hazards
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate supervisor or maintenance team
Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed at all times
Respond promptly and professionally to any requests or concerns from visitors
**Requirements:**
Previous experience in caretaking janitorial or maintenance roles preferred
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects
Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Certification in caretaking or maintenance services
Experience working in a similar environment (e.g. residential community school commercial property)
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
