Senior Reporting and Analytics Specialist Bangalore

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Reporting and Analytics Specialist with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills a track record of successfully engaging with clients and the ability to drive account growth. The primary responsibilities of this role include SQL Server expertise Power BI development data modelling and building data gateways to enable seamless data refresh from onpremises SQL Server to Power BI cloud. Additionally the candidate will be responsible for creating one or two Power BI dashboards and guiding clients in dashboard development over a period of 4 to 6 weeks.

1. **Client Engagement:** Develop strong client relationships demonstrate excellent communication skills and effectively articulate technical concepts to clients. Proactively identify opportunities to grow client accounts and provide strategic guidance.

2. **SQL Server Expertise:** Utilize advanced SQL Server skills to manage and manipulate data optimize queries and ensure data integrity.

3. **Power BI Development:** Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights and drive informed decisionmaking. Implement best practices for data visualisation and user experience.

4. **Data Modelling:** Develop and maintain robust data models that support complex reporting requirements and enable efficient data analysis.

5. **Gateway Implementation:** Build data gateways to facilitate secure and reliable data refresh from onpremises SQL Server databases to Power BI cloud.

6. **Dashboard Development:** Create one or two Power BI dashboards as proof of concept and guide clients in dashboard creation customization and maintenance.

7. **Client Training and Support:** Provide training and support to clients in utilising Power BI tools interpreting dashboards and building their own reports and dashboards.

**Qualifications:**

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.

5 to 7 years of experience in reporting and analytics roles with a focus on SQL Server and Power BI.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to engage with clients and drive account growth.

Proficiency in SQL Server including data manipulation query optimization and database administration.

Expertise in Power BI including report development dashboard design and data visualisation.

Experience in data modelling including dimensional modelling and data warehouse design.

Familiarity with building data gateways and implementing data integration solutions.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
