Job Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer
Job Duration: 06 months Contract on W2

Job Summary

• The primary responsibility for this position is to work with our mechanical engineering team in developing new solutions and supporting existing test solutions at the Wilsonville OR site.
• This position will heavily utilize development and debug skills for the development of mechanical interfaces and components used on multirack automated test stations.

Responsibilities:

• Developing designs documentation modification production support
• Contribute to the success of a crossfunctional team to develop solutions to production and fieldtesting problems. This could include initial design prototyping and environment testing solutions.
• Develop and review product designs analyze development and design requirements.
• Design of test fixtures cables interconnects and associated documentation
• Perform tolerance analysis.
• Prepare and present project / technical information to peers internal management and customers.
• Plan and manage tasks effectively.
• Specific tasks include enclosure structural design thermal vibration other environmental considerations design verification prototype build and production transition to the factory.
• Perform assignments requiring the use and application of moderate to complex mechanical engineering principles and techniques.

Skills Required:

• Must have a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.
• At least 35 years in related field Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to excel in a team environment where the individual will interact with various engineering teams comprised of other mechanical engineers mechanical drafters electrical engineers software engineers and system engineers.
• Must have excellent working knowledge with Solidworks
• Must have excellent working knowledge with NX Designer
• Must have excellent working knowledge with 3D printing.
• Must have excellent working knowledge with AutoCAD or similar design tools.
• Must have experience working in production.
• Must be capable of performing mechanical design and analysis to meet system requirements.
• Must have strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
