Overview: Business Master File Modernization (BMF Mod) is one of multiple programs created to modernize the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) the legacy Tax processing systems and is critical to the IRS IT Application Development (AD) and IRS IT Enterprise Service (ES) organizations goal to support the objectives of the IRS IT Modernization Business Plan. BMF Mods initiative will modernize IRS systems and processes improve taxpayer experience increase voluntary compliance and reduce the Services reliance on costly and unsustainable legacy technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and implement ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Develop and maintain data mappings transformations and workflows.
• Perform data analysis and profiling to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and define project scope.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data integration and ETL.

Requirements:

• X years of experience working as an Informatica Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter and other Informatica tools.
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle SQL Server etc.).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Informatica certification(s) is a plus.
• Experience with cloudbased data integration platforms (e.g. Informatica Cloud).
• Knowledge of other ETL tools such as Talend DataStage or SSIS.
• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop Spark etc.).

Education

Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or related field.
