GW Automation QA Lead

NA has a client in New York NY that is seeking a GW Automation QA Lead. This role must work onsite 3 days a week in Morristown NJ.

Summary:

The role involves leading a QA team across onsite and offshore locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in system integration and regression testing with a focus on Guidewire Policy Center applications.

Responsibilities:

* Lead a QA team across onsite and offshore locations * GW Automation QA Lead will design develop and maintain automation scripts using QTP/UFT Selenium for Guidewire and Portal applications * Execute automated test cases assess outcomes and document test results * Analyze system specifications to extract test requirements and develop comprehensive Test Cases/Scripts * Partner with QA engineers to formulate and implement an effective automation strategy

* Identify document and track bugs and errors communicating them to the Development teams * As a GW Automation QA Lead you will engage with crossfunctional teams to promote Quality throughout the software development lifecycle * Act as single point of contact for all testing for the initiative and facilitate testing efforts for releases across multiple applications

Required Skills : * Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience * Minimum 10 years of experience in QTP/UFT Selenium Automation testing * Prior experience leading a team * Experience in automating interactions with thirdparty applications tools and interfaces especially those integrated with SAP and web portals * Specific Quality Assurance experience with Guidewire solutions in the P and C Policy lifecycle is essential * Familiarity with a variety of automation frameworks including Hybrid and Keyworddriven approaches * Proficient in QTP/UFT Selenium Automation with a proven track record as an expert in the UFT Automation tool * Proficient in VB Scripting * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills * Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment * Prior experience with Microsoft TFS and Test Manager (MTM) is highly desirable
