Health Safety Environment Lead-Chennai

We are looking for Health Safety & Environment Lead with 10 to 15 Years of Offshore / Oil & Gas / Marine Domain Experience for our esteemed client for Chennai location.

o This position is responsible to manage foundational EHS systems that are utilized by the EHS organization with an emphasis on field repair and manufacturing operations

o Manage EHS compliance and process conformance identify opportunities for risk management and manage and prevent related liabilities from a holistic EHS perspective..
o Responsible for ISO related documentation implementation and compliance for 14001 and 45001..

o Support EHS statutory and regulatory compliance programs and takes initiatives for EHS related improvements at EEIL India operations.

o Establishes internal process controls and HSE Documentation.

o Serves as point of contact for HSE data collection ensuring that data is collected and consistent for the HSE requirements.

o Occasional interface with external regulatory agencies and internal and external legal counsel.

o Analyzes historical EHS compliance and performance data to determine opportunities for improvement and to support executive leadership in decision making.

o Implement the EHS strategic plan for Global Service Field and Repair and Manufacturing Operations.

o Develop and lead implementation of EHS systems collaborating deployment with EHS Manager

o Manages the incident investigation process to identify trends best practices and opportunities for incident prevention
o Establish HSE culture following Corporate and Local site requirements. Prepare site induction onboarding and training plan for employees site contractors visitors and ensure adherence to training plan and requirements.

o Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety Environmental Health and Safety or related field plus 10 15 years of applicable experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

o Experience in EHS department in Offshore / Oil & Gas / Marine Industries

o Ability to conduct workshops and prepare Safety Reports

o Excellent computer skills (Excel Word PowerPoint data bases and internet based systems) required.

o Hands on experience in handling operations Maintenance & Services of CETP

o Hands on experience on statutory regulations compliance monitoring and reporting.
