Job Description

Title: Salesforce Developer
Location: Richmond VA 3 days Hybrid
Exp Req: 10years

Job Description:

  • Looking for a candidate to take on the pivotal role of migrating our platforms functionality from Salesforce to a Javabased implementation.
  • This role is critical as we aim to decommission our dedicated Salesforce instance in the upcoming year.
  • Analyze the existing Salesforce functionalities and infrastructure to determine the best approach for migration to a Javabased platform.
  • Design develop and implement Java solutions that replicate or improve upon our Salesforce instances functionalities.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate Java solutions into our existing infrastructure.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the Java implementation to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Provide documentation and training to relevant teams to facilitate a smooth transition to the new Javabased system.
  • Stay abreast of developments in both Salesforce and Java technologies to ensure the best practices are applied throughout the migration process.
  • Skills
    • Experience with Java development and Salesforce platform.
    • Java Spring Salesforce Apex AWS experience.
    • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.
    • Proficient in Java and related technologies with a solid foundation in software development principles.
    • AWS Experience will be helpful.
