Job Title: Tableau Admin

Location: Pune/Hyderabad

• Strong experience as a core Tableau Admin with 47 Years of experience
  
• Strong knowledge on the Tableau Architecture
  
• Strong experience in end to end Tableau Administration
  
• Proficient in installation and configuration of new tableau server (Good to have experience in
  
  latest versions like v2021 v2022 v2023)
  
• Experience in server upgrade activities and must have clear understanding on the prerequisites
  
  for the server upgrades.
  
• Experience in working in Tableau Development Enhancement/Bug fix issues.
  

Requirements

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Creating and maintaining a backup plan for data that includes storing backups to protect against natural disasters or human error.
  
• Training new users on how to use Tableau software including best practices for interacting with data
  
• Managing user permissions to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to sensitive data and tableau server. Experience in user authentication and user access management (Add/modify/delete users & security)
  
• Performing regular maintenance activities on servers to ensure optimal performance. (Eg. Clean up and create backups of the database)
  
• Experience in ServiceNow tool and ticketing and working on tableau enhancement issues and data issues. Responsible for administrating Tableau environment as technical point of contact on Tableau server related incidents and service requests tickets.
  
• Performing regular backups of data to prevent loss due to system failure or human error
  
• Providing support for IT issues that are related to Tableau software such as installing updates or troubleshooting problems
  
• Working with development teams to ensure that new features or integrations are compatible with existing infrastructure
  
• Performing regular maintenance on workstations to ensure optimal performance and Proactive monitoring server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues.
  
• Experience in Upgrading of server and installation of required software and making required configuration changes in Tableau Server. Working on production issues related to Tableau server and working on Tableau Upgrade activities
  
• General Server Administration knowledge on AWS and Windows servers.
  
• Monthly and Quarterly Audits of Tableau server to ensure Tableau user capability is up to date
