Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to join our team for a project in New York City NY. As a Cloud Architect you will be responsible for designing building and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS strong expertise in DevOps practices and a background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

Key Requirements:

• Strong background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) with recent experience of at least 810 years in infrastructure.
• Expertise in DevOps practices including Terraform Docker and containerization technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS services such as VPC Networking Control Panel and Landing Zone.
• Experience migrating onpremises infrastructure services to AWS.
• Ability to create automation templates for reusability using tools like Terraform CloudFormation Bash and PowerShell.
• Expert understanding of various AWS storage services and their use cases.

Qualifications:

• Advanced cloud implementation experience using compute storage networking and security services on AWS.
• Proven background working in an enterprise IT environment.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Design capabilities aligned with the AWS WellArchitected Framework.
• Proficiency in EC2 Unix/Linux User Data and Ansible.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and serverless architectures.
• Experience with Kafka is a plus.
• Strong understanding of networking and security principles.
• Proficiency in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Experience with Python scripting and Docker.
• Ability to collaborate with Infrastructure and Application teams.
• Selfdisciplined and selfmotivated with leadership qualities.
• Knowledge of SDLC and CI/CD best practices.
• Azure experience is not required but considered a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications to cloud infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to promote immutable infrastructure.
• Manage and administer AWS services providing guidance to Application and Business teams on infrastructure design decisions.
• Collaborate with technical teams on escalations development of cloud and managed services.
• Drive process improvement within the DevOps team and enterprise IT cloud management capabilities.
• Identify opportunities for threat management and critical upgrades.
• Utilize enterprise SaaS products to align with business technology needs.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Work effectively with crossfunctional global and remote teams.
