Position Title: Helpdesk Support Specialist
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline support to users through phone email or ticketing system channels.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
- Assist users with software and hardware installations and configurations.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and perform basic troubleshooting tasks.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT personnel for further resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of support tickets and resolutions.
- Assist in deploying and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and document support procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a helpdesk support role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting desktops laptops printers and mobile devices.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong problemsolving abilities with attention to detail.
- IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA A Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
