Job Description

Position Title: Helpdesk Support Specialist

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide frontline support to users through phone email or ticketing system channels.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Assist users with software and hardware installations and configurations.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and perform basic troubleshooting tasks.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT personnel for further resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of support tickets and resolutions.
  • Assist in deploying and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and document support procedures.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a helpdesk support role or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting desktops laptops printers and mobile devices.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities with attention to detail.
  • IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA A Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
