Data Modeler

NA has a client that is seeking a Data Modeler in Doral FL. Summary: The role is responsible for designing integrations schemas and databases that meet organizational needs using conceptual logical and physical data models. You should have good experience with Informatica Power Center to load and transform data. The majority of work will involve data analysis and modelling of the data warehouse databases along with designing ETL processes (under the guidance of the Supervisor and/or Data Warehouse Architect). The Data Modeler is also responsible for developing and enforcing database/data model standards. This person should also have good understanding of Data modernization and governance. Duties Include: * Design develop and enforce data models/ETL integrations and naming standards across all deliverables * Reverse and forward engineer Business legacy data models * Effectively communicate the technical data integration requirements design and decisions that support the functional needs of Data Engineering to both IT and Business members via verbal or documentation * Reduce data redundancy consolidation transformation and training of Business and IT members * Design and develop data lineage with/without preexisting documentation; Create and maintain current and target state data integration models and flows; Reverse and Forward engineer Business data models to the level needed for business Analytics usage * Develop an understanding of Business processes and the corresponding system architecture in order to modernize the environments * Partner with the Business Intelligence teams in defining the end state reporting goals and/or dashboard requirements; Design and develop Data models and solutions required to meet them

1. Must Haves

• Looking for a strong Data Modeling and Strong informatica design capabilities. This is not a dev role
• Experience in design & development of Informatica mappings 50%
• Experience in oracle / SQL
• Experience in Linux / Unix
• Experience in data modeling of Data warehouse solutions 50%
• Experience with ER Studio or any similar tool
• Experience with Informatica cloud migration is an advantage

Required Skills : * Bachelor s or Master s degree specialized in areas related to Information management Computer Science or equivalent field * DAMA Data Certifications (preferred) * 10 years of deep data modelling and architecture experience * 7 years of experience in data modelling database design and data architecture; Experience in the Travel and Hospitality industry a plus * Proficient in Data Lineage/Modeling tools (ER Studio). Informatica toolsets including Data Archive EDC Oracle database; Expert understanding of Data warehouse design * Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools utilization including Hyperion SAS Tableau or Microsoft Power BI * Knowledge of Data modelling Data lineage and Standards
