Job Description

We are looking for a highly capable Node.js developer to optimize our webbased application performance. You will be collaborating with our frontend application developers designing backend components and integrating data storage and protection solutions. To ensure success as a Node.js developeryou should have extensive knowledge of Node JSbased services. An accomplished Node.js developer will be someone whose expertise results in the stable fast and secure data exchange between servers and endusers
. Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining all serverside network components.
Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to frontend requests.
Collaborating with frontend developers on the integration of elements.
Designing backend services for various business processes.
Developing highperformance applications by writing testable reusable and efficient code.
Implementing effective security protocols data protection measures and storage solutions.
Running diagnostic tests repairing defects and providing technical support.
Documenting Node.js processes including database schemas as well as preparing reports.
Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development. Requirements:
At least four years of experience as a Node.js developer.
Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express.JS
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals such as prototype inheritance Composition and CommonJS/AMD module system using RequireJS.
Basic understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3
Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
User authentication and authorization between multiple systems servers and environments such as Oauth and JWT.
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system such as MongoDB & MySQL.
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs. desktop and optimizing output to match the specific platform
Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
Availability to resolve urgent web application issues outside of business hours.
