Job Description
Overview:
The Java Tech Lead plays a crucial role in our organization providing technical leadership and guidance to our development teams. They are responsible for leading the design development and deployment of Javabased applications ensuring they align with business objectives and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Java developers in the design and implementation of software solutions
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose technical solutions
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Participate in architecture and design discussions to drive technical innovation
- Implement and maintain highquality scalable and secure Java applications
- Identify and address technical debt and performance bottlenecks
- Coach and mentor team members to foster professional growth and development
- Stay uptodate with Java and related technologies to drive continuous improvement
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Ensure the successful delivery of software projects within defined timelines
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with project managers to align technical deliverables with project milestones
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- 5 years of experience in Java development
- Proven experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a software development team
- Handson expertise in designing and developing enterpriselevel Java applications
- Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring Hibernate or similar
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and modern software development practices
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with crossfunctional teams
- Experience with database systems and knowledge of SQL
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles
- Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture is a plus
- Certifications in Java or related technologies is an advantage
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
- Strong dedication to continuous learning and professional development
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
