Engaging Bilingual School Psychology Position Immediate Hiring

• Perform psychological assessments using standardized tools and culturally relevant methods to evaluate students cognitive academic social and emotional capabilities.
  
• Collaborate with educators parents and fellow professionals to craft Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies for students with diverse needs.
  
• Offer counseling and crisis intervention to students facing social emotional or behavioral hurdles integrating culturally sensitive approaches.
  
• Act as a resource for school staff on matters related to multiculturalism diversity and bilingual education delivering training and consultation as necessary.
  
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress exchange insights and develop comprehensive support frameworks.
  
• Maintain precise and confidential records of assessment outcomes counseling sessions and intervention plans ensuring adherence to state and federal guidelines.
  
• Cultivate positive relationships with students families and the wider school community fostering an environment of inclusivity equity and mutual respect.
  

Requirements

• Hold a Masters Degree in School or Educational Psychology.
  
• Possess a valid school psychology license in the state of Illinois.
  
• Hold or be eligible to apply for an endorsement in School Psychology.
  
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish with the ability to conduct assessments and provide counseling services in both languages.
