Position: PHP Laravel Developer
Experience Level: 2 4 years
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced PHP Laravel Developer to join our development team. As a PHP Laravel Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements develop efficient code and ensure the quality and performance of the applications. This role requires a strong understanding of PHP Laravel and web development best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and enhance web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write clean efficient and maintainable code following Laravel coding standards and best practices.
- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality scalability and adherence to established coding standards.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues reported by users or identified during testing phases.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability by implementing caching mechanisms database optimizations and other techniques.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend logic.
- Implement and maintain API integrations with external services and platforms.
- Write and maintain technical documentation including project requirements technical specifications and user guides.
- Stay updated with the latest PHP Laravel and web development trends techniques and best practices.
- Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives.
- Work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams including designers frontend developers and QA testers to deliver highquality web applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science software engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Professional experience as a PHP Laravel Developer.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and objectoriented programming concepts.
- Proficiency in Laravel framework and its ecosystem (Eloquent ORM Blade templating engine etc.).
- Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and jQuery.
- Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases and ability to write optimized SQL queries.
- Experience with version control systems preferably Git.
- Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
- Understanding of web application security best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to work in an agile development environment.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
