Registered Nurse ICU Cardiovascular

Benelux Medical Staff a leading staffing agency is searching for a dedicated ICU Cardiovascular Nurse for a Fulltime position in Beaumont Texas. Join our team and contribute to promoting healing and wellbeing by providing expert care to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough patient assessments to identify individualized care needs and develop comprehensive nursing care plans.
  
• Administer medications treatments and procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
  
• Monitor patient vital signs cardiac rhythms and response to interventions adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and promote effective communication.
  
• Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary nursing personnel providing guidance and support as needed to ensure safe and efficient patient care delivery.
  
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities including assessments interventions and outcomes.
  
• Adhere to professional nursing standards hospital policies and regulatory requirements to ensure quality and safety in patient care delivery.
  
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
  
• Demonstrate professionalism compassion and empathy in all interactions with patients families and colleagues.
  
• Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering teamwork collaboration and mutual respect among healthcare team members.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

A. Education/Skills

• Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
  

B. Experience

• Twelve (12) months experience preferred.
  

C. Licenses Registrations or Certifications

• Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
  
• AHA BLS within two (2) weeks of employment
  
• Medication Competence within two (2) weeks of employment
  
• Computer Competence within four (4) weeks of employment A Medication Examination within twelve (12) weeks of employment
  
• Basic Dysrhythmia (if applicable) within twelve (12) weeks of employment
  
• TNCC within six (6) months of employment if hired in MICU or Neuro ICU
  
• Critical Care Classes and Examinations within in sixteen (16) weeks of employment
  
• ACLswithin sixteen (16) weeks of employment
  
• Phlebotomy/Point of Care Competencywithin four (4) weeks of employment
