Job Description
As a Finance Executive you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions client accounts and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of finance including billing payments receivables and financial reporting. Attention to detail precision in documentation and effective collaboration with team members are essential for success in this role.
On any given day you might:
- Track billing activities payments and receivables and provide consistent updates to clients on their account balances.
- Address any discrepancies promptly through followup actions.
- Record and manage balances in the system with precision and ensure accurate documentation of all financial transactions.
- Monitor and update advertising account spending limits based on current client balances.
- Maintain detailed records of received payments and accurately associate payments with respective client accounts for precise tracking.
- Regularly reconcile vendor invoices and expenses.
- Generate comprehensive MIS reports on media spending commissions and retro commissions.
- Provide financial insights based on the reports to support decisionmaking.
- Conduct routine reconciliations of client balances to ensure accuracy and address inconsistencies in expenditures promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with domestic and international tax regulations.
- Facilitate necessary implementations to meet tax requirements.
- Accurately calculate commissions and retro commissions based on predefined formulas or agreements.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding balances payments and financial matters and provide prompt resolutions to client queries.
- Issue estimates and invoices for domestic and international clients and process refunds as needed.
- Release vendor RO/PO and conduct regular reconciliations of vendor spending invoices and payouts.
- Investigate suspense bank transactions and ensure resolution before monthend.
The Ideal Person
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field.
- Proven experience in financial management preferably in a digital marketing agency.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Knowledge of tax regulations financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite.
You Bring
- 1 years of experience in financepreferably within the digital marketing industry or a related field.
