Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective and engaging maths lessons
• Assess and evaluate student progress to inform instructional strategies
• Support and guide students in their mathematics learning journey
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum materials
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
• Attend staff meetings professional development sessions and parentteacher conferences as required

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Mathematics Education or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching mathematics at the primary or secondary level
• A passion for mathematics and a desire to inspire students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational and timemanagement abilities
• Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Familiarity with technology used in mathematics education such as interactive whiteboards and educational software
