Job Summary
The Distributor Manager will Identify and Source distributors/manufacturers across the nation partner with new suppliers and understand their products. Develop and manage the relationship between the different suppliers and the business to maintain value and growth of the business. Bring in new suppliers as needed and keep accurate documentation of suppliers and their products.
What you will be doing
- Identify and Source distributors/manufacturers across the nation partnering with new suppliers and understanding their products
- Management of portfolio margins fulfilment SLA etc
- Ensure distributors are fulfilling demand from the wholesalers with net 0 logistics margin
- Lead pricing negotiation with suppliers to ensure wholesalers access s and manage contracts to ensure compliance.
- Facilitate credit negotiation with distributors/manufacturers
- Conduct cost analysis on sourcing and distribution processes identifying opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships between different suppliers and the business.
- Ensure documentation and records are up to date
- Keep update records of prices and stocks of products currently sold
- Stay abreast of new trends and products with high demand that will add value to the company .
- Keep agents and merchants informed of products available and their current prices
Requirements
Special Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing Social Sciences or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience of distributor and supplier management. - Excellent customer service skills
- Vendor management skills and knowledge
- Street smart and with a drive for sales
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
- Evidence of successfully leading others to exceed measurable revenue targets.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Strong understanding of sales methodologies, processes, and best practices, such as consultative selling, solution selling, and challenger selling. Proven experience in sales enablement, Sales Capability, sales training, or commercial operations roles, preferably in a B2B or technology-driven environment.
