Job Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Bilingual School Psychologist you will play a pivotal role in promoting the academic social and emotional wellbeing of students. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students strengths and areas for growth.
  
• Collaborating with educators parents and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions.
  
• Providing counseling and therapeutic interventions to support students mental health needs.
  
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention strategies.
  
• Supporting the implementation of positive behavior support plans and crisis intervention strategies.
  
• Advocating for the diverse needs of students and promoting inclusivity within the school community.
  
• Providing consultation and training to school staff on topics related to psychology and child development.
  

Requirements

To excel in this role candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  
• State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois.
  
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  
• Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
  
• Strong assessment and intervention skills with a focus on evidencebased practices.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
