Job Description
Position: Software Engineering Program Manager
Location: Boston MA US
Project Description:
As a Software Engineering Program Manager you will spearhead globally distributed multifunctional and remote engineering teams. Your role will involve orchestrating the design development testing and release of software ensuring timely delivery with uncompromising quality.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and synchronize software development teams and internal stakeholders to drive the timely delivery of highquality software solutions.
Lead the delivery of essential technologies and user experiences.
Manage interdependencies between teams identify and mitigate software delivery risks and oversee requirements and architectural convergence.
Cultivate strong relationships with technical experts stakeholders and senior management.
Oversee project requirements scope schedule budget quality and risks.
Demonstrate exceptional organizational and leadership skills along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Mandatory Skills:
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the automotive industry.
Exceptional leadership negotiation and critical thinking abilities.
Proven capability to establish and maintain key partnerships.
Experience in managing firmware suppliers and thirdparty development partners.
Prior experience in software development and testing particularly with embedded applications and languages such as C C MATLAB or Python.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and adeptness in managing hybrid agile/waterfall approaches.
NicetoHave Skills:
Experience in automotive industry standards and practices particularly ASPICE.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and adeptness in managing hybrid agile/waterfall approaches.
