Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough physical examinations of pediatric patients.
• Diagnosing and treating illnesses infections and injuries.
• Monitoring the growth and development of young patients.
• Prescribing and administering appropriate medications.
• Providing immunizations and vaccinations.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Educating parents and caregivers about pediatric health and wellness.
• Responding to medical emergencies and providing urgent care when necessary.
• Participating in clinical research and staying updated with medical advancements.
• Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate medical records.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
• Residency training in pediatrics.
• Board certification in pediatrics.
• Valid state medical license.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric medicine treatments and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make critical decisions.
• Empathy and compassion when interacting with young patients and their families.
• Commitment to ongoing medical education and professional development.
• Understanding of medical software and electronic health records.
