Work cross organization and functionally to verify battery software and hardware meet the system needs and battery pack requirements.
Deploy update and maintain current North America BMS functional software (SW) and hardware (HW) requirements in terms of battery applications (BEV PHEV/MHEV)
Document Stellantis Lessons Learned to improve Stellantis BMS requirements and process es
Lead source package technical reviews and compliance analysis
Support as defined the Stellantis Quality Gate milestones per Propulsion Systems Development Plan (PSDP).
Lead component DFMEAs
Support the validation and test teams with testing and analysis of issues
Deploy and facilitate EOL programming and support for BMS programs
Collaborate with BMS systems Architect BMS Systems and SME (Subject Matter Expert) engineers to clarify BMS SW and HW requirements
General Expectations for all Engineering support areas
Provide technical clarification of designs with suppliers and manufacturing
Support component DFMEAs
Work cross functionally to verify BMS electronics and SW are meet all customer needs.
Support BMS engineering and management in program execution duties
Technical Skills
Supplier must have demonstrated technical expertise and competencies in Automotive Battery Systems
Experience with software development diagnostics and data analysis tools (e.g. HIL testers CANalyzer INCA etc.)
Familiar with a disciplined system development process based on ASPICE or CMMI model
Knowledge of automotive ECU test methods and procedures
Knowledge of electrical components used in BMS
