Job Description
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented Power BI Developer to join our remote team. As a Power BI Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards to provide insights and support datadriven decisionmaking. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Power BI development SQL and experience with SSAS/Cube.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize data and enable stakeholders to make informed decisions.
2. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and understand their analytical needs.
3. Design and implement data models to support Power BI reports ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
4. Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and usability.
5. Create and maintain documentation for Power BI reports and data models.
6. Work closely with data engineers to ensure the availability and quality of data for reporting purposes.
7. Provide training and support to endusers on using Power BI reports and dashboards effectively.
8. Stay updated on the latest features and best practices in Power BI development.
Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Power BI development.
3. Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
4. Experience with SSAS/Cube for multidimensional data modeling (Tabular model experience is a plus).
5. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Experience working in Agile development methodologies is desirable.
9. Certifications in Power BI or related technologies are a plus.
Location: Remote
Work Hours: 8 hours per day
